Rover (Spectro) is the free protagonist character of Wuthering Waves and the strongest of the three Rover resonance forms. Spectro Rover is a main DPS using a Sword with high personal damage, solid Concerto generation, and good team utility via Spectro resonance. Despite being completely free, Spectro Rover is competitive with some limited 5★ units and is the definitive "invest here first" recommendation for new players.

A quick Spectro dash-slash generating Forte and dealing burst Spectro DMG; cooldown is short enough to weave into the Normal chain.
At max Forte, Rover enters an enhanced Spectro form — in this state Normal Attacks deal additional Spectro DMG and the final hit deals a high-damage explosion.
Large Spectro AoE burst that deals high area damage and generates a significant portion of Forte gauge for an immediate enhanced state window.
