Who is Kafka?
Kafka is a 5★ Lightning character following the Path of Nihility. An agent of the Stellaron Hunters serving under Elio's Script, she is the premier DoT (Damage-over-Time) enabler in Honkai: Star Rail. Her kit is built around inflicting and amplifying Shock, a Lightning DoT effect. Her signature mechanic — Talent follow-up attacks — causes enemies hit by a DoT-inflicting Basic ATK from any ally to immediately take Shock damage equal to a portion of the remaining DoT, effectively doubling or tripling the value of every DoT tick in the team.

Kafka is a must-pull even for F2P accounts. She has multiple rerun banners and her signature LC is not required — Good Night and Sleep Well at S5 is obtainable from the standard banner and is a very strong substitute.
Her best F2P team pairs her with Sampo (4★, free from story), Ruan Mei, and Gallagher (4★ standard banner). This team clears Memory of Chaos at a competitive level without any limited LCs.
